The Special
The Special was a intermediate horn that was a take off of their old 'Military' model. |
The Studio
The Studio was a inovation of Olds. It used a nickle-silver bell
(brass without copper) on a yellow
brass bell neck, giving it a very
unique darker tone without the weight
of a heavy bell. Interesting look, anyway.

The Super
The Super is the small Profession line horn. It had a very heavy bronze bell with a
"Tone Control Ring" that made the bell even
heavier. The result is a very dark and centered
tone for a small conical horn - my
favorite.

The Recording
The Recording was a very popular Profession horn. Made with a bronze
or red brass bell, it has a very dark
and lively sound.

The Recording
The Ambassador was their very well built student line horn. Well built slide and very good projection.
