Eric Harold Burger

Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Belson, Pearl Bailey, Lou Rawls, Ray Charles, AJ Croce, The Blues Brothers, Temptations, Rudy Salvini Big Band, Herb Harisson Jazz Orchestra, Wolf Kaiser Big Band, LA Jazz vocal group, various US Army Big Bands and ensembles, the Sacramento Symphony, LA Doctors Symphony, Camellia Symphony, Pueblo Symphony, Colorado Spring Symphony, Shasta Symphony, Pikes Peak Orchestra. Euphonium soloist with the Old Brass Band of Sacramento.

Has been a featured soloist at The North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Klipedia Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, Reno International Jazz Festival, Kool Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Klaipeda (Lithuania)Jazz Festival, Europa Park / SWR Jazz Festival.

Has Opened for Buddy Rich, Father Hines, Count Basie Orchestra, Garth Brooks, Clint Black, Allen Jackson, Roger Miller, Billy Dean, and has recorded for over 40 artists and numerous sound tracks. 

Most recently performed with the 76th Army Band; Livin' Music Family; Me And The Heat; Wolf Kaiser Big Band; Band leader of The All American Big Band; and Eddie Bravo & The Prime Time Horns. Currently stationed at Fort Sill with the 77th Army Band in Oklahoma

Teachers
Paul Tanner:
-Played trombone with Glenn Miller through the extent of his civilian orchestra. -Played trombone with Charlie Spivak, Les Brown, Tex Beneke, Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle, Frank Comstock, Billy May, and many others.-First trombone for the American Broadcast Company (ABC) in Los Angeles for 16 years. -Performed in all major movie, television, and recording studios in Los Angeles. -Starred in several motion pictures, including "Sun Valley Serenade", "Orchestra Wives", and "The Glenn Miller Story". -Arranger and composer. -Performed with Eugene Ormandy, Arturo Toscanini, Bruno Walter, Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Meta, Walter Hendi, Andre Previn, etc. -Built and Recorded the Electro-Theremin on many projects, including the Beach Boys "Good Vibrations"; Frank Comstock's album, "Music From Outer Space"; TV shows, including "The D.A.'s Man", "My Favorite Martian", and "I Love Lucy"; and movies, including "Strait-Jacket".

Frank Rosolino:
Bob Chester from 1946 to '47; Glen Gray during the latter half of 1947; Gene Krupa's bop-oriented band in 1948 and'49; Tony Pastor at the end of 1949; Herbie Fields' small band in 1950; Georgie Auld's quintet in 1951; then back to his native Detroit with his own group in 1952. From 1952 through '54, Rosolino was a featured soloist with Stan Kenton's band, creating quite an impression and winning the first in a string of awards, the 1953 Downbeat critics' poll New Star Award. His soloing on the LPs New Concepts of Artistry in Rhythm and Kenton Showcase in the midst of the most swinging of all Kenton aggregations garnered him near legendary status as the bop trombonist of the moment. Following his stay with Kenton, Rosolino landed one of the most coveted, high-profile gigs on the West Coast: five days a week with bassist Howard Rumsey's All Stars at The Lighthouse, the famed club on Hermosa Beach. Following several well-received 1950's leader dates on Dee Gee, Capitol and Bethlehem, the 1960's found him as a stable member of Steve Allen's TV show band. During the 1970s, he was an in-demand sideman, featured on albums by Quincy Jones, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and perhaps most notable, Supersax.

Don Staples:
Played with Lawrence Welk; Tonight Show Band; Veteran of 30 years of TV and Movie recording sessions; Performed with Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, Lou Rawls, Tony Bennett, Jerry Lewis, etc.

Don Brewer:
Took a messed up misfit and gave him a chance (on tuba), then kept on pushing him. My first band teacher, first trombone teacher. Great player, freelanced around Sacramento area.

Studied Voice with:
Laurel Masse' of the original Manhattan Transfer.
Rachel Kessler, Soprano Soloist for Vincent Persichetti and numerous opera companies.
